The Z4 is a custom-made clamp designed to prevent your Belkin Lightning splitter from dangling around once connected to your iPhone.

The Z4 clamp is the solution you need for holding the Belkin lightning splitter firmly in your G2 video grip.
The sliding socket has been custom-designed to fit tightly into any of the G2 cold shoes, but the most convenient place to mount it is on the lateral cold shoe above the handle.
IMPORTANT: While the Z4´s socket might work with other cold shoes, we can’t guarantee it will fit tightly or without getting damaged.
The Z4 has been 3D printed using an automotive-grade fibber-reinforced composite polymer for supporting tough working conditions.

3D printing allows us to offer custom-designed products to a small group of customers at an affordable price.
We can do this by avoiding the high cost of tooling and injection molding, which only make sense for large production runs. The reliability of 3D printed materials is now on par with traditional manufacturing processes and can even meet automotive and aerospace specifications. While surface quality has drastically improved during the last years, it is important to understand that surface quality of 3D printed parts is not yet as smooth as an injection-molded or machined part would be, but this is only a small price to pay for having access to products that can radically improve our workflow.
HOW TO MOUNT IT
All you need is a small X-screwdriver.
For mounting the Belkin Lightning splitter:
Unscrew the clamp using a small Philips X-screwdriver.
Slide the splitter inside the clamp. Make sure to mount the splitter in the correct orientation.
Press the clamp with one hand and tighten back the screw in position. Do not overtighten so you don’t strip the inner thread.
Check the Belkin splitter is correctly clamped.
Mount the whole setup into the G2 by sliding the socket into the cold shoe. We recommend using the lateral cold shoe on the handle side for best results.
